When we decided to elope to Hawaii, A Paradise Dream Wedding put together a fantastic wedding for us on very short notice (3 weeks). All the details were taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay on Maui. The day of the ceremony the staff created an atmosphere that was stress-free putting us at ease. Kimo, our minister, did an excellent job incorporating Hawaiian culture into a traditional ceremony. Even as he made us smile and laugh, he reminded us of the sanctity and importance of our vows. The day was completed with a delicious meal on the beach, prepared by Robert, who was professional, personable, and knowledgeable about the islands. We enjoyed talking with him as we dined on his superb cooking. Now looking back at our incredible pictures, taken by Gordon, and watching our wonderful DVD, shot by Lee, our memories are of the beautiful scenery and the joyous day rather than a stressful event. We want to thank you again for everything you did to make our wedding so special.

Everything was awesome.... I don't know why anyone one would want to get married anywhere else but Maui. Maureen was wonderful about answering all my questions and concerns. At first I was worried, because I wasn't actually going to be there for the planning, like if we were to get married locally in California. But, Maureen took care of everything. We didn't have to worry or stress at all. We initially picked A Paradise Dream Wedding because we couldn't believe their photos were real. But it's true, our pictures look exactly like the ones on the website. The Cove was exactly like it looked in Gordon’s beach location photos. Our minister was personable and fun. Some members of our family were not able to make it to Hawaii. Our videographer captured our ceremony, so that those family members felt like they were there. My stargazer lily bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets we beautiful. I had a matching hair flower that the butterflies landed on and stayed on for a while. It was the perfect day for our wedding! We thank you for all your time and help in making our wedding day so beautiful.

Cake & Toast: 10 Ok, you guys went all out to make sure we had THE wedding cake we were looking for. Our cake maker was without a doubt A) one of the sweetest people ever B) an amazing baker! The Cake itself was picture perfect AND delicious. We had a specialty cake of Tiramisu – and it was the best ever! The seashells on the cake and the frosting looked just like the pictures I sent. THANK YOU for going out of your way to find her!
Hair & Makeup: 10 I really liked the end result of the hair and makeup. I am not a fussy person – and she made my hair and makeup look just so natural! Suggestion – let the bride know what the deal with the tip is. I wasn’t sure if the price included tip…or how much to tip her! Thank you for the opportunity to send you feedback! It was the most amazing wedding day of my life! Please feel free to use anything for promotional pieces. I know a perfect 10 for a score seems unreal. But seriously, I was long distance planning a small dream wedding for my family from Arizona! And everything went off without a hitch. From 1 to 10, I would give our wedding as a whole an 8 as there is always room for improvement. I found our coordinator quite helpful over the phone, though I was told upon our arrival in Hawaii that she was no longer with you. She was around an 8. Our officiant, Tino, was lovely. Quite definitely a 9. He made me feel quite comfortable, as I was a complete and utterly nervous wreck. It was a lovely service. The photographer, Graham, was fantastic. He was a definite 9. My husband especially liked him, as he is also very interested in photography. Graham was able to make me forget about the camera and enjoy my day. Our photos are beautiful and each time I look at them I cannot believe that it's me in them looking so glamorous. Our videographer, though quiet, was fabulous. He was also a 9. Our favorite part of the video was the quirky ending that he put together as though it were an old silent film. Everyone who has seen it has thought it the most beautiful wedding video they've ever seen. It's not just your average boring ceremony, ya know? The flowers were beautiful, though I wish I could have taken them home with me and kept them forever. They were a 10. The site, Makena Cove, was more than I could have ever hoped for. It was also a 9.

Scott and I cannot even put into words how perfect our wedding day was...we were skeptical about having a destination wedding, however Maureen put us at ease in the months of planning before we even arrived in Maui. And then Diana, Gordon, the videographer, Tino...it was like we had known them all for several weeks - they put us (and our family and friends that were there) at ease right away. Every single person involved in our ceremony was a professional...and yet, they acted also, as they were friends. It seemed to us that our wedding day was just as important to the entire group at Paradise Dream Wedding as it was to us. The DVD is incredible...we hosted a reception at home a month after our wedding, and the 100+ guests couldn't believe how beautiful everything was...they kept asking us to replay our video over and over! (And of course, Scotty and I, as well as my mom and dad, were brought to tears each time it was played!) Our wedding day was everything we imagined – and then some - the Cove was perfect, and we truly, TRULY cannot say enough about everyone from Paradise Dream Wedding. They ALL are what the "aloha spirit" is all about. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We spent months researching wedding coordinators in Maui, and nothing impressed us more than Gordon’s amazing photography. We knew we wanted our wedding photos to look just as amazing, just as breathtaking. Planning a destination wedding is definitely not easy, and at times we felt there were some communication problems with the wedding coordinator. However, once we arrived in Maui everything was well organized and we were able to have a very stress free wedding! The ceremony was absolutely perfect, and Rev. Diana made us feel so calm at such an emotional time. The harpist’s performance was so beautiful yet unobtrusive, and was perfect for our wedding. Our family and guests were so impressed at the location, they just couldn’t get over how beautiful everything was. And last but not least, Gordon captured our wedding in no other way. He was so calm and made us feel so at ease. We loved the way he communicated with us and our guests when taking group photos, and we had so much fun taking our portraits! Our wedding truly was as perfect as it could be, and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. When we returned to California from our Honeymoon in Kauai, our photos had already arrived, with digital copies too! We were able to share our pictures with everyone in a matter of days, which was so important to us since many of our family and friends were unable to make it to Hawaii. We have received so many compliments on our photos and we really can’t get over how beautiful they turned out. Now all of our friends want to get married in Maui too! Thanks to Gordon and the rest of his staff, the entire experience was incredibly meaningful and, surprisingly enough, stress-free! The coordinators were a little slow to respond via phone at times but they always got back to me and were very friendly and helpful. All of the details were taken care of, with very little work on our parts - they made the process very easy. Gordon was a pleasure to work with - both he and his assistants seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing, and their pictures show it! We're completely thrilled with our pictures! Every single person we've shown them to has said they're the best wedding pictures they've ever seen. We've been married for over 2 months now, but I still can't stop looking at the photos, they're so beautiful! Gordon and his assistants were also incredibly generous, in a couple of regards. First, I dropped my soon-to-be husband's wedding ring in the sand right before the ceremony began. Gordon, his assistants, and the minister (Valentino Rosette, whom we liked very, very much and highly recommend) all went far above and beyond the call of duty by helping us sift through the sand to look for the ring. After the ceremony, while Gordon was taking pictures of us and our family, his assistants and the minister spent probably close to an hour on their hands and knees looking through the sand - unbelievable! Gordon's assistant eventually found the ring, which made it even more special. On top of all this, Gordon provided us with many more photos than we had paid for. Gordon and his staff truly demonstrate the aloha spirit! Since my husband & I had a very small ceremony in Hawaii, we had anticipated that we wouldn't feel "truly" married until after we returned home and had our reception for the rest of our family and friends - but the experience Gordon and his staff provided was so thoughtful and complete, that this ended up not to be the case. Despite never having met us before, our minister made us feel as if he had written his words specifically for us. He was very warm and caring towards us. And the location (the Cove) was fabulous! I really can't say enough good things about Gordon and Paradise Dream Weddings. I recommend them with no hesitation whatsoever!

For our experience we choose to have the wedding at the Secret Cove. The weather was amazing. Everybody with the company was really nice. They knew everything and took really good care of us. The coordinator was amazing, she took all the stress out of the wedding, we just had to show up and get married. Gordon and his crew were really cool, they let us have fun and we really enjoyed taking two hours of pictures in the sun. You would think that it sounds like a long time, but with them it went by before we knew it. The flowers were amazing and the cake was amazing. The best part about the whole wedding was the pictures and the video. The pictures make the beach setting and the water look unreal. In the beginning it is hard to decide on a wedding company in a place so far away. It is kind of hard to trust people you have not met with the most important day of your life, but trust me, you won't be disappointed. We read a lot of the reviews and decided on Paradise Dream Wedding. We are very happy we did, we would recommend them to anybody. It was so nice to get away and have a small wedding.

We absolutely loved our ceremony and the pictures are unbelievable!

Everyone who sees our pictures makes the same comments. We hear "Wow, these look like postcards" or "These don't look real, they are so beautiful". We had some of the proofs blown up. When we went up to the development office to pick up the pictures, all of the staff was gathered around the pictures in awe. They said they had never seen such beautiful pictures. Our video is wonderful. We get weepy eyed every time we watch it. And we've watched it several times. I cannot comment enough on the minister you chose. He did a wonderful job. Minister: 10. Our Hawaiian minister was so thoughtful and sincere. He had a beautiful voice as well. He teared up during the prayer... very moving.
Photographer: He's off the scale.... out of 1-10 he's a 100 -- top dog. I couldn't begin to say enough pleasantries about Gordon. He knows his stuff, can capture a moment and has such a friendly and casual disposition that he makes the awkward pose look candid... the sunset photos he did of us the day before the wedding -- were THE most incredible pictures. Everyone we've shown them too has done nothing but WISH their photos turned out half as good as ours. 
Videographer: 9.0 The wedding video and DVD that we purchased were great…I would have liked some different kind of Hawaiian music on it rather than what was used. I wished I’d researched that a little bit more to have someone to recommend playing in the background. The intro was really neat…the microphone was placed too close to the minister’s mouth and therefore his voice sounds like it’s distorted a bit because he is speaking loudly over the breaking waves and to the people in attendance.
Flowers: 10+++ You went above and beyond to make the very bouquet that I'd found a picture of on line... I just e-mailed the photo and there it was.... everyone that has seen the photos of it has just raved about how beautiful my flowers were. 
Cake & Toast: The cake was delicious! (And thank you for the pineapple juice!) Having my son (4 years old) present for my special day was very important to me and toasting to pineapple juice seemed very appropriate 
Musician: 9.5 the harpist was friendly and the music was beautiful. I'm really "in" to harp music but it did add some ambiance to the occasion.

I researched on line about 4 months before narrowing down my choices for a full-service all-in-one company. Why did I choose A Paradise Dream Wedding? Because you beat ALL competitors hands down with your friendliness, service, quality and most importantly ... PRICE!

What first drew me to the company was the pictures. I'm a picture person. I wanted lots of pictures AND I wanted the negatives. I wanted the opportunity to do whatever I wanted with my photos.... So, the price for the pictures with THAT kind of quality AND the negatives... was SO worth it. Everyone that has seen our albums or viewed our on line album has just oooh'd and aahh'd over them. They only WISH that they're photographer was as good as Gordon. He's simply the best. That is why we picked him!

The coordinator was a straight shooter. She told me what would work... helped me decide on a morning wedding so that we could do the luau for our wedding night meal.... helped me pick the perfect beach location for the ceremony... gave me recommendations of an after wedding brunch locale.... answered all of my questions.... Getting married nine hours and thousands of miles away from home was a big leap of faith for Brandon and I, but you all made it the most memorable and enjoyable event in our lives thus far. Every thing was all we dreamed of and more. Thank you so much for a wonderful wedding and catering services. I am 100% satisfied with the photos, the video, the ceremony, and the catering. The Woman who did my hair and makeup was also top notch. Everything was very smooth as far as the wedding went and I really liked the personal attention. Our minister was exceptional, he made a beautiful sermon, and spoke to the nervous bride and groom in a way that they did not have to think too much! Also, we felt like he was an old friend. Thanks so much, I can't rave enough about how perfect our wedding day was!

Planning was made easy via the phone with Gwen and through the internet. Although my wedding was a simple one, you guys made sure it was still special. Gwen assured me she could and would do everything I asked for. My bouquet was PERFECT....just as I had wished (remember Gwen...I mailed you the picture?) The service that we received from Gordon and his group was exceptional. We were absolutely thrilled with the professionalism of everyone involved in planning our special day, February 9, 2002. Everything was co-ordinated perfectly and the day flowed so smoothly. Prior to the wedding we were a little bit stressed out... not really knowing what to expect when we arrived in Maui. I recall Gwen telling us "All you need to do is show up" and that's exactly what we did- we just showed up! Everything fell into place... like it had been rehearsed for weeks! We never thought that planning a wedding could be so stress free. We are not sure how we stumbled on your website originally... but we were very glad that we did.

Gordon- the pictures you took were absolutely spectacular. We received so many compliments. People have us convinced that our wedding picture needs to be on the cover of a magazine! Ha, ha! You truly have talent... Thanks again for making our special day so wonderful.

We were thrilled with everything!! It was exactly want we wanted our wedding to be!! The photos Gordon took are excellent. Honestly, the photos are better than I had hoped for. And the option to have them printed in both color and black/white was terrific. The wedding video is excellent as well. The family loves it. Minister Ron was wonderful and exactly what we were wanting in a minister. . .loving, passionate and sincere. The whole experience was first class! Gordon and his staff are wonderful and understand that this is your "special" day. . .and they make it one! To be honest, we were more than a little worried about all the details being that we live on the mainland and having a stranger arrange one of the most important days of our lives. How would the minister be? How would the flowers be? How would the whole ceremony go? Well, We are completely 150% thrilled with all that Gordon and his staff did for us. Thanks you all for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of!

Your instincts are 100% correct. You should not hesitate for one second to choose "A Paradise Dream Wedding" to marry you. My wife and I just came back from Maui (about 2 weeks ago), and we were so impressed with Gordon's entire crew. From the research that we did, if you choose anyone else to marry you I think you will be making a big mistake. I can tell you that our wedding was absolutely perfect !!! If we had to do it all over again, we would not have changed a single thing.

In brief ...
Photography: Incredible. Gordon is a brilliant photographer (and a true professional). He captures the mood perfectly. Would you believe that my wife and I loved every single picture that he took ?! Even the best of photographers don't achieve that kind of success. When you see Gordon in action, you will know that you made the right choice.

Video: Dan McMahon and his wife Jeane are absolutely amazing ... you will be so pleased !!! Dan is really fun to work with, and he really helps to make the mood relaxed. Like Gordon, Dan knows how to capture the spirit of the wedding, and perhaps more importantly, all the things that make your relationship unique. We highly recommend Dan and Jeane.

Coordination: Gwen was the person that actually coordinated our marriage for us. She was really patient to work with, especially when you want to add or change items in your package. Because their packages are so flexible, you will definitely want to personalize .... and Gwen will make it so easy for you.

I could not have been more pleased with my “Paradise Dream Wedding”!! The actual coordination of the wedding was completely stress free, unlike a traditional wedding. Gordon did such a fabulous job and left no detail unturned. Since returning I have recommended this style wedding and in particular “Paradise Dream Weddings” to everyone I know that’s getting married. My biggest concern when planning this wedding was that we have professional quality pictures and video. Seeing all the photos in the gallery at the :Paradise Dream Wedding” website was the deciding factor on who I chose as a coordinator. I was not let down! As a matter of fact, the pictures and video exceeded my expectations. It was hard choosing which ones to put into our wedding album because they were all so good. 

Overall, the experience was terrific and the memories will last a lifetime!

Our photos turned out even better than we had imagined--the colors are extremely vivid, and the focus is razor-sharp. I didn't realize how difficult it was to shoot outdoor photos in Maui--with the super-bright sunlight and the dark shadows. We loved the ceremony location and hotel area so much, and your photos captured the beauty of the area. I was most impressed when I saw a photo of a candid moment (when I ran into my husband's brother, prior to the ceremony). I had no idea that Gordon had taken the shot, and it was a priceless moment. Himani also covered the ceremony in great detail--the digital images are superb! I'm glad that we chose to order a good amount of footage--it was definitely worth it.

Absolutely--but I would rather not have our names posted on your website. I would be more than happy to accept email questions from prospective customers. If anyone needs to be convinced that your company provides the best photos, I'm your girl.
