Besides the afterglow of an afternoon wedding in golden light, a Maui sunset relaxes your shoulders, makes you feel even more in love and provides very flattering light for your pictures. Makena Cove is a little beach tucked away on the south side of the island. Often we have it to ourselves and make the most of sun setting right in your lap. Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

How wonderful to spend your Fourth of July in Maui, practicing your wedding kiss the day before. Eric and Tiffany and 15 of their family and friends made their own fireworks at Makena Cove with Master Photographer Gordon Nash. Gordon's extraordinary artistic eye blended the light, the colors and captured all the love of the day. Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

Mr. and Mrs. Lang, reveling in a whole five hours of Photography with Gordon Nash got to spend time together before the wedding at the Cove doing pre photos. What a way to relax and get adjusted to Maui and used to the warm waters and sun. I promise you their time together on the beach made a difference for their wedding. Its wonderful when we have lots of time for different days and locations. Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

Marcus and Shea of Ann Arbor, Michigan were one of the funnest couples. Playing, horsing around, sharing fun with their guests, and a sunset blowing of the Pu together. A lovely beach side wedding with their first dance accompanied by a Hawaiian Ukulele and Guitar. Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

7.1.15, will always be remembered as one of the happiest days for Ken and Amy. A warm July afternoon on the beach, lots of laughter, love of family and fun with the minister. Arien Sherman, Photographer, captured the moments that made the day special and froze a little time to store away in their hearts forever. Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

In Maui, the Tradition of exchanging leis at the beginning of the ceremony is very important. It gives you a little time to breathe and relax and realize you're finally "Here!". Its a nice time to share and interact with each other before the "meat" of the ceremony. The groom usually gives the bride her lei first, with a kiss on the cheek, and then the bride gives the groom his lei and a kiss also. There's always that look between the couple that says "this is IT, we're actually getting married!". Then you can continue on the with ceremony, no more worries, stress and just enjoy every moment. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Noland for your lei lesson. Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

Mr. and Mrs. Higgins followed their wedding ceremony with the Jewish tradition of breaking the glass. Safely wrapped for the sand, and Groom Spencer prepared to give it his all because of the soft sand, he broke that glass! Lovely details abounded in their wedding, to die for shoes for the bride, special bling jewelry and lots of love. Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator
