When my husband and I first decided we wanted a destination wedding, we had no idea where to turn or even where to start. Internet searches eventually led us to Maui. There were a number of wedding planners on the island that all seemed to offer similar services. Paradise Dream’s amazing pictures and great reviews are what initially stood out. After talking with Jayanne we were confident Paradise Dream was it for us. Not only did Jayanne help plan our wedding, she gave the best travel advice and recommended some of the yummiest restaurants. She even called the evening before we left for Maui to go over last minute wedding and travel details. (And to make sure I wasn’t freaking out) ☺
The morning of the wedding, our Hair/Makeup stylist Caroline came to our room. I had a couple pictures of what I wanted done and Caroline did exactly that. Not to toot my our horn, but I looked absolutely stunning thanks to her :) When we arrived at The Cove for the ceremony, our onsite coordinator Shena, photographer Arien, and videographer Brian were there to greet us. Shena was the absolute best moral support for the ceremony. I was a nervous wreck and she knew exactly what to say to calm me down. I couldn’t have asked for a better support person!!
I’ve heard horror stories of disaster wedding photos so I couldn’t help but feel anxious about how our photos and video would turn out. But let me just say, WOW what amazing work they do! I’ve never been very photogenic, but both Brian and Arien captured so many beautiful shots! Family and friends were blown away by how beautiful our photos and wedding video turned out.
Our officiator was Robert, and he was the sweetest!! Our vows and everything he had to say were so genuine and straight from the heart. Robert was the perfect person to lead our ceremony! His passion made us even more excited about our future and the years to come. By the end I wanted to shrink him into a miniature size and take him home with us ☺ I couldn’t be happier we chose Paradise Dream. Everyone went above and beyond to make our special day absolutely perfect!

When Mark and I first visited Maui in 2008 we fell in love with the aloha spirit and beauty of the island and always said that Maui would be the place that we would get married one day. We choose A Paradise Dream Wedding to be a part of special day and it truly was our dream wedding, we are so incredibly happy on how everything went. This day could not of gone so perfectly hadn't it been for Jayanne, she planned our special day for years with us and always answered our questions with ease and professionalism, planning our wedding from Vancouver, BC was stress free and we honestly believe that is due to Jayanne and her expertise.
The pictures that Gordon and Mami took on our special day are breathtaking and look like there are right out of a magazine, Gordon and Mami were amazing to work with and they captured our special moments on our wedding day beautifully.
The pictures Arien took on our morning shoot were just as incredible, Arien was just as amazing to work with and made us feel very comfortable and at ease. We are very thankful to have such gorgeous pictures to cherish forever.
Ian did an outstanding job at recording our incredible day, we have a video of our entire ceremony that we have watched numerous times now as everyone wants to see it.
Our minister Laki has such a great character and presence about him, he truly made our ceremony everything we could of ever hoped for and more :)
Our guitarist Ernest sang Over the Rainbow and Marry me beautifully, and Shena our onsite coordinator was lovely and made sure everything went smoothly.
Last but not least Andrea and Caroline who did the hair and makeup for myself and three bridesmaids did a beautiful job, I absolutely loved my hair!

When Adam and I decided to do a destination wedding, one thing we were most excited about was the amazing backdrop it would provide for our pictures. We were blown away by the final product!
Gordon and Mami were so great, they made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and had a wonderful time taking pictures after our wedding. Every time we show friends and family our pictures, they are in awe of the scenery, colors, and clarity in every shot.
Beyond the photography, our experience with Paradise Dream was wonderful. Jayanne was incredibly helpful, especially considering we were planning a wedding all the way from Ohio. On the day of, Shena helped calm our nerves and made sure that we focused on the importance of the day. Everything was perfect. Caroline, who did my hair and makeup, made me feel gorgeous all day. Louise played two beautiful songs for us on her ukulele. And finally, Laki, our minister, gave us a wedding ceremony we would not soon forget. We are so grateful to everyone who played a part in our day and would not have changed a thing!

I began planning our wedding almost two years ago after reading many reviews and seeing Gordon’s work. When I stumbled across A Paradise Dream Wedding, I looked no further! I constantly checked the website and kept up with Jayanne’s blog, watching as couple after couple got married and had their photos uploaded, dreaming of “our” day (May 4th, 2015)! Every picture seemed so gorgeous and I couldn’t wait to see how ours would turn out. It is so amazing to finally have “our” pictures! Every time I look at them I am transported back to re-live all the emotions of that incredible day! It is literally overwhelming! I was amazed that we received all of our photos in less than 3 weeks and was absolutely thrilled to receive the sneak peek, which allowed me to have photo wedding announcements printed as soon as we returned from our honeymoon!
Gordon has an amazing gift and made us feel at ease the entire time. It was so special…we felt like we were on the set of a movie!
Mami was so sweet and very talented as well. She communicated with me the entire time after the wedding with updates and texts about our photos.
Brian worked his magic and we had a wedding video to share with our family and friends on the mainland that very evening…how does he do it?! I cry every time I watch it and so does everyone else!
Liz played the guitar beautifully and was definitely a wonderful addition to our day.
Ernest was the absolute perfect minister for us…the ceremony was everything we hoped it would be.
Shena was our on-site coordinator who guided us through the experience and helped calm the nerves and answer all of our questions the day of.
Andrea came to my hotel room and did my hair and make-up and helped me with my dress…she definitely got the day started off right and was so pleasant and friendly! I was very pleased with how my hair and make-up turned out.
Jayanne helped me plan everything and made it so easy! I don’t know how she keeps track of everything and everyone!
We cannot wait to come back to Maui very soon and we are already dreaming of our 10 year vow renewal with A Paradise Dream Wedding!

Gordon and Mami, our photographers, made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Even though we forgot blotting paper, Mami came prepared and helped us with touch ups during the photo shoot. They took beyond the number of pictures that we had initially agreed upon and the pictures exceeded our expectations. When we finally received Gordon’s sneak peek pictures, we were blown away. Our sisters exclaimed that they would love to have Gordon and Mami when they get married too!
Jayanne was our attentive and organized coordinator. She made us feel at ease and we knew everything would be taken care of even though we were on the other side of the country. From flowers to food, she gave us recommendations and accommodated any specific requests we had.
Robert, our minister, was heartwarming and gave us sincere advice before and after the ceremony for our lives moving forward. He made us feel comfortable and created a beautiful atmosphere with his words during the ceremony.
Andrea was the bride’s hair and makeup artist. She was comforting and helped calm the bride’s nerves before the ceremony. Moreover, she was receptive of specific makeup requests the bride had and did her best to do exactly what the bride wanted.
Lastly, John was our charismatic guitarist. He took the time to speak to us before and after the ceremony to tell us what songs he wanted to play and offered to take suggestions if we had any. He customized the songs to fit the crowd and set the atmosphere during the ceremony to be warmhearted and cheerful. Even though he didn’t have to stay after the ceremony, he continued playing while we took pictures and the crowd had left.
