In the last century when a couple got married they employed a cut out artist to make silhouettes of their faces in profile, which were proudly displayed on the wall. We are gluttons for great images. Even though we are supposed to be done and letting the couple leave, we hold them captive til the last gasps of color are gone. This time often brings some of the best photos, you never know what light you are going to get at the end. Arien Sherman loves to shoot at this time. The best part of family photos are the children. We capture the images with the thought in mind that those moments are frozen in time, and the children won't look like this even in six months.
