Sebastian Sayegh
Born and raised on Maui, photographer Sebastian Sayegh traveled to New York City to hone his artistic skills. After working on many films and photo shoots as a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts for Cinematography and Photography, Sebastian returned home to reconnect with his Ohana and the Aina (family & land). Sebastian trained and worked with the highly respected Maui photographer, Gordon Nash since 2012, learning Gordon's perfected island aesthetic and merging it with Sebastian's own creative style.
Living in paradise has imbued a sense of adventure and constant appreciation for the beauty around him, which is reflected in Sebastian's distinctive images. Sebastian seeks to capture the very best, whether its the indescribable moments of emotion or the gentle Hawaiian light wrapping around a bride’s face.
Growing up with Hawaiian Aloha Spirit, Sebastian is a very easy going photographer with the inner drive of a New York City artist, eager to have fun with the couple, but makes sure everything is to perfection. In his off time Sebastian Sayegh often spends his free time hiking through lava caves, free diving with honus (turtles), star gazing from atop of Haleakala or just grabbing some “ono” (good) local cuisine with friends.
Sebastian loves to share his passion and island knowledge with our couples to make their wedding experience in Hawaii the best!
