Joe and I were married on Maui in 1996 and with always wishful thinking we both thought how wonderful it would be to come back on our 20th Anniversary to renewal our wedding vows. Joe made that dream come true by booking a surprise trip to Maui this year with our beautiful girls, family and friends to celebrate. We made the decision to use A Paradise Dream Wedding, when looking at a friend's renewal wedding album and she highly recommended your team. We are so happy and grateful to Jayanne, our Wedding Coordinator, who helped us with every question we had and being on top of everything. Our amazing Minster was Ernest Pua'a, whom felt like family in seconds of meeting him. Thank you for being so warm and patient with us cracking jokes and laughing at each other...and being on my side more...lol. I can’t thank Jayanne, our Wedding Coordinator enough for putting myself and my Groom into such great hands for our wedding. Our ceremony was above and beyond what I had thought it would be. Jayanne was an extremely organized and professional wedding planner. Her attention to detail was appreciated. She left no doubt in our minds we were in good hands right from the beginning. Jayanne guided us to create the most perfect day. Branden Sequeira (our photographer) was very helpful in showing us how we could make our wedding creative and unique to us. One of my favorite ideas he came up with was how to incorporate the landscape of Maui while respecting our traditional values. After deciding to have our wedding on Maui, we started our search for photographers who take better pictures than I can. This quickly reduced the search to 5 photographer websites. I then placed our favorite pictures from the websites into a folder and discovered Paradise Dreams dominated the results. Our favorite pictures were taken by Gordon Nash and Arien Sherman. I quickly called to book them for our wedding.
Jayanne, our Wedding Coordinator, assisted with scheduling the photographers and also helped with suggestions and coordinating all aspects of the wedding. We talked about various reception venues and beaches to hold the wedding. Her suggestion of having the wedding on Poolenalena beach and couple pictures at Makena Cove after was perfect. She also helped find Andrea for the hair and makeup stylist, Laki for our officiant, Cynthia Wolfe as our Licensing agent and obtained all the necessary permits.
The wedding was a complete success. The beach was gorgeous, Laki looked great and was fun. Gordon and Arien was able to herd everyone and organize everything so they could take all the group pictures.
The private boat reception was a dream. Arien and Ceasar Lizada succeeded with the tough challenge of taking creative beautiful pictures on a windy boat during sunset for two hours.
The whole day is a now a happy memory thanks to everyone at A Paradise Dream Photography. And to top it off, we now have absolutely phenomenal pictures to remind us of the great success of our wedding day. We greatly appreciate everything Jayanne, Andrea, Laki, Gordon, Arien, and Ceasar have done to help make our wedding day a wondrous memorable occasion.
