We would not have done our wedding any different. After narrowing down the location of the wedding it was stress free. We arrived in Maui and from there everything was taken care of. All we had to do was show up. Jayanne took care of all of the arrangements and we were truly honored to be married by Rev. Al. It was the most beautiful ceremony and an occasion that we will never forget. After seeing our Maui Wedding we have many family and friends interested in doing the same thing. Gordon and Arien were professional, accommodating and fun. The flowers were EXACTLY what I had always wanted--absolutely beautiful. Gordon and Arien captured every beautiful detail of the day--my fabulous bouquet, our rings, my dress, my handsome husband, our friends and family, the amazing beach and sunset. We love our video too. I knew the pictures would be fantastic—it’s the main reason we chose your company. Thank you for all of your hard work, talent and planning. Coordinator: A- The only reason that I give a A- on this is that my coordinator who I originally booked with left the company and I was never informed until just a day or so before my wedding when the current coordinator who was handling my wedding called to confirm that we had arrived, etc. It never faulted in any of the arrangements, etc., I just think a courtesy email could have been sent to let me know who was my new contact.
Minister: A+ What can one really say about Rev. Al Terry that probably already has not been said!? We met Rev. Terry just a few minutes before our ceremony and he conducted it like he had known us for most of our lives. He made us laugh and almost cry! We are very glad to have him conduct our ceremony, as it is truly something that will be with us for the rest of our lives.
Photographer: Eric A+ Eric was a dream come true when it came to photographers. He was easy to talk to and not only did we make him laugh, he made us laugh. We truly enjoyed having him as our photographer and he is THE reason we booked with your company and it truly paid off in the end. We have amazing photographs of a beautiful wedding that was taken by a wonderful person. He captured the emotions of the day as well as show off his personality and flair as well.
Videographer: Carl A+ Another home run! We enjoyed our time with Carl not only as our videographer but as a person as well. He and Eric worked wonderfully together and were playing off one another and us. The video wasn't the most important thing for me, but when I received it just a mere two weeks after my wedding and sat down to watch it, I have underestimated videography for weddings! He did an AMAZING job and will be treasured for the rest of our lives
Flowers: A+ The flowers were EXACTLY what I wanted. Coming to the tropics I was not sure how having sunflowers as my wedding flower would work. This was the only thing that I was worried about, because you always see orchids, lilies and roses in tropic weddings and I wanted to tie in a more midwest flower and the florist nailed exactly what I wanted. I mailed my bouquet ribbon to your office two weeks in advance to have put on my flowers and they did such an amazing and professional job in doing so. It meant a lot to me that I was able to have my mother's favorite flowers as my bouquet when she wasn't there in person. Thank you for letting me have her with me on that day.
Location: The Secret Cove!!! A+++ This location was the reason we picked Maui as the island to get married on! It was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better location and people are always asking where we got married when they see the pictures.
Sales Person: Diana B I only say B because she had to do very little selling. I also felt a little pressured to use her for my ceremony when she brought up that she conducted ceremonies for your company
You made our dreams come true for our wedding. When Jeramy and I first got engaged we had a big problem. I wanted an intimate ceremony and he is the oldest of 21 grandchildren (huge family). After discussing eloping to Maui I came across your site. It had everything! The amazing photography (which was very important to me), the videographer, the location, the coordinator.....all with one very reasonable fee! I couldn't believe my luck! After discussion and pricing around, I kept coming back to your website over and over again. The day we booked our wedding date with you was the day I knew we had made the right choice. Everyone was in touch from the moment go. You made OUR dream wedding happen. Just the two of us on a beautiful Maui beach. Your photographer, minister and videographer made our day even more memorable. Not only were the professional and overjoyed to be working with us, they were amazing people within themselves. We were honored to have their names on our marriage license! Thank you for giving us one of the most memorable days of our lives. Coordinator: 9-While I did not have a contract with Jayanne, she was incredibly helpful. She was willing to give me ideas for cutting costs as well as local tips for securing a reception venue and supplies. She also helped remind me that no matter how stressful things seemed at the time, Maui weddings are always dreamlike.
Photographer: 10-Branden Sequiera was outstanding. He was willing to take shots of all the poses we wanted regardless of whether or not he had someplace else to be. He was patient, humorous and he was able to capture a different perspective of our wedding that I never would have known existed. I was very pleased with his work.

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. Everything was way above and beyond expectations. Our minister, Vance, was so warm and he made us so comfortable. The ceremony was so personal and special. Gordon and Branden did a fantastic job with the photography. They were so much fun to work with and we could not be happier with the way the pictures turned out! My bouquet was beautiful. Your services were even better than we imagined! Al Terry was just magnificent! He included our children in the ceremony, and it was so beautiful and meaningful. We did not plan that beforehand, but we are just so thankful we chose him for our special day! The photographer and videographer were outstanding. Everybody is just in awe over our pictures! We showed the video on a projection screen at our reception back home with friends and family, and everybody was in tears. They all agreed it was the most beautiful, intimate ceremony they had ever seen. The location was just absolutely gorgeous...it was the most amazing experience! We'll always remember the beauty of that day--gazing into each other's eyes, with the gorgeous crisp blue colors of the water behind us, towering palm trees, the contrast of white water from the waves crashing against the volcanic black rocks behind us...the sand was so soft, the beautiful colors and fragrance of my bouquet, lots of sunshine, and delicate white clouds...the beautiful words from Mr. Terry...it really felt as though we were on heaven's perch! Everything was absolutely amazing! It truly was a paradise dream wedding! Thank you!

I originally found a Paradise Dream Wedding through my initial search for a photographer. After many hours of research and reviews I chose Gordon. I even changed my initial date of the wedding so I could have him take our photos. He met my expectations in every way. Our pictures are beautiful. We have gotten so many compliments from people saying they are the most beautiful pictures they have seen and even look like something from a magazine. Videographer: 10 Our video turned out wonderful. Every time I watch it I it reminds me of how special our day was. Flowers: 9 Musician: Our violinist was wonderful. At first, I had wanted someone to play guitar but at the recommendation of Jayanne I went with the violist and I am glad that I did. It really set the mood! Hair & Makeup: I was a little nervous about this at first. Having someone doing my hair and makeup for my wedding day without first practicing. However, Regina did a fabulous job. My makeup looked wonderful and she had my hair exactly how I wanted it. Location: The cove is absolutely beautiful!! Even though the pictures are gorgeous, they do not do it the justice of being there in person. All of Hawaii is beautiful but I do believe this was one of, if not the most beautiful scenery on Maui.

Everything went so smoothly. Well done! The limo driver was right on time and a really nice guy. Rev. Al was wonderful...my mother still talks about how perfect he was. We loved him and were so glad we picked him to perform our ceremony. My bouquet was more beautiful than I ever expected. It was perfect. I wish I could have kept it forever. Gordon, his assistant and the videographer were great! We almost didn't know they were there and the pictures are stunning! We're so glad we have them and the video because it all went by so quickly that it's difficult to remember every moment.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize a few of your stellar employees. My husband and I came across your website, actually through a referral. I contacted your office for information; I got a warm aloha response immediately and was sold. Jayanne was extremely helpful and speaks so highly of your company.
We were lucky enough to make a visit to Maui in November, prior to our wedding. We met your staff, saw your offices and were able to meet everyone involved in our wedding. Your staff gave us the warm 'Aloha Spirit' welcoming. Jayanne helped me with the big, little and huge tasks of coordinating a perfect wedding of 100+ people coming from the mainland. Unfortunately, our photographer Eric got the flu the week of our wedding. He was nice enough to call Guy and myself personally to let us know and send his apologies. Jayanne also called both of us to ensure we were ok. I actually came down with the same flu Eric had the day before our wedding - so I completely understood how sick he was, since the flu sent me to the Urgent Care. Jayanne called her personal Dr. in Kihei and made me an appointment! Talk about going above and beyond. She also gave me advice - If I got nervous to just lock my eyes on Guy (my husband) and everything would be ok. She was absolutelyamazing! We also loved our photographer, Arien Sherman, Della Peacock our on-site coordinator, and our videographer, Carl Rozycki. Our pictures came out amazing and our video. We are speechless! Jayanne said to defiantly have our wedding videotaped because we wouldn't remember everything that went on...she was right! We are so happy we decided to have our wedding taped. The personalization's Carl made on our DVD are breathtaking.

The only comment I wanted to make was that I really don't like the Collages web site. I think it is hard to see the pictures. They seem so far away and you cannot see details such as expressions in the face. Once I received my disc with all pictures on it, I couldn't believe how much better they were. I'm really happy we paid extra for the disc. Also, when the pictures were uploaded to Collages I noticed some were missing and had to call and find out what happened. It just seems like maybe there should a designated person for the pictures after the wedding because the photographers' assistants are very busy. We did receive our wedding album and it is beautiful. The Cove is the most beautiful site for a wedding. We were so pleased we chose that beach to be married on!! The flowers and leis were so colorful and smelled amazing. Gordon is a great photographer. We loved his easy-going approach. We felt like we received personal attention and were not rushed while having our pictures taken. Evonne, our coordinator did a great job of responding to our questions on e-mail promptly and was very detailed oriented to ensure everything was perfect on our wedding day! The travel agent services were great as well. Thanks again for making our wedding in Maui so special.

Married life is WONDERFUL and if I had a dollar for every time I RAVED about our experience with Aekai, I would be a very rich woman. We were more that impressed with our experience with you all ... is there some sort of a survey that I can take to express our total satisfaction? Or would it be better to write a letter?

We received our album ... it's AMAZING! Arien was fabulous and everyone who has seen our album can't believe the clarity and professionalism displayed. It's so lovely - we are thrilled!

We are saving our pennies to visit again ... ideally we would spend our first anniversary on Maui ... keep your fingers crossed for us. And thank you for the tip on early December ~ while we can't make it this year (work, blah, blah, blah), maybe next year would be a distinct possibility for us.

Our wedding was wonderful, it was everything we could have ever hoped for! Brother Al, our minister, was exactly what we wanted, and the ukulele player was also perfect. The ceremony could not have gone any better if I had been there myself every day planning every little detail. If I had it to do over again, I would not have changed a thing. We really enjoyed having Gordon as our photographer for only the biggest day of our lives! He took so many pictures and they all look fabulous! We really liked how easy going Gordon is. A lot of photographers can make a couple feel rushed with all of the pictures that they are supposed to have. Gordon managed to get all the best shots, and just let us be ourselves throughout the wedding, cocktail reception, and pictures on the beach. The sunset pictures that he took are amazing, but then again, all the pictures are amazing! Thanks for everything!!

We were very happy with our experience with A Paradise Dream Wedding. We've both been married before and wanted a small, beautiful, stress-free, memorable, romantic, destination wedding. We got exactly that and it was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. I now understand what the "Aloha Spirit" is, (it was my first trip to Hawaii) our wedding was filled with it! Every player was so helpful and caring, we felt like these people really cared, not like we were just generic customers. The coordinator was fantastic. I really admire her as she has so many brides to look after which means a million details, she gave me peace knowing that even though I had never met her and was thousands of miles away from my wedding site, I could be confident that everything was being taken care of. This wasn't easy for me at first since event planning is part of my job, it was difficult to hand over the reigns to a complete stranger, but with Our coordinator's attention to detail, cheerful attitude, and patience, I was at ease in no time. Our Minister, Rev. Ken, was wonderful. He exudes so much warmth, as soon as you meet him you just want to hug him! He is one of the happiest people I've ever met. Apparently his nickname is the Hawaiian Dalai Lama. He gave us a Christian Hawaiian ceremony that was both emotional, spiritual and humorous all in one. I absolutely love Rev. Ken, his joyful personality is infectious. You can't help but feel good around him! I really hope I can see him again one day. He is such a great guy. Our photographers, Gordon and Arien were outstanding. They let us have input on the photos and it turned out to be a great collaboration of taking their expertise along with our specific requests to get the exact shots we wanted. They were so laid back, and didn't rush us which resulted in us being very relaxed. Our photos are so beautiful, we were ecstatic with them. Our videographer Carl was awesome too. He had the same laid back attitude and joked around with us. Our wedding DVD is very professional, above and beyond my expectations. My bouquet was breathtaking, even though the florist didn't get it exactly right. They had missed putting one type of flower in. I was very impressed with Our Coordinator however, when I let her know later, she followed up immediately with the florist for an explanation. I had my hair done by Jean and I highly recommend her. I was a little nervous at first having my hair done by a complete stranger a couple hours before my wedding but I found out that I had no reason whatsoever to worry. Jean came into our condo with a "take charge" attitude. She had her little suitcase with her and immediately found a chair for me and a plug in for her and set up within minutes. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and along with verbally explaining, she had my hair done exactly how I wanted it and it was perfect. This was amazing to me, I can't even communicate that well with my own hair stylist. The one I've known for years! I didn't get my make up done but I'm sure Jean would be just as proficient with that. Jean told me she is a nurse as well, that really made me feel I was in good hands. She has a very caring personality and she has chosen her professions well. The location, The Cove, was truly magical. Actually magical isn't a big enough word to describe that place. We had gone down the day before to find out where the place was and to scout it out. You drive along this road and there is a lava rock wall. You park and then there is a doorway to the beach. I was walking along the rock wall and then turned into the doorway and my heart skipped a beat when I saw this beach. You think it looks nice on the website, well imagine it being 10 times more beautiful in person. It was the first time in my life when I could literally say "I can't believe my eyes". This beach is Heaven on earth. With the components of white sand, turquoise ocean, black lava rock, green palm trees and blue sky, it is a picture post card sight. I knew I had picked the perfect backdrop for my wedding. Later when I was showing photos to a friend she said "it looks like someone pulled a backdrop behind you guys, it looks so perfect". On our wedding day we arrived at the beach at 9:15am and after a bit of discussion with Rev. Ken and the photographers, we started very quickly. Rev. Ken played his ukulele as I walked "down the aisle" in bare feet, the sun was shining and we had the most wonderful ceremony. I'd like to thank everyone who was involved with making our day so memorable. I highly recommend A Paradise Dream Wedding to anyone who wants the most romantic day of their life.

The ‘storm of the decade’ almost ruined our wedding… Jayanne’s original suggestion of moving from Makena Cove to a Hotel Lobby was absolutely ludicrous. While I’ll understand there are no guarantees for the weather, it took some convincing that a lobby is not an option. In the end Jayanne came through for us HUGE and rescheduled the wedding for the next day with no extra charges. What could have been a disaster was rectified and we thank her for that. Arien was amazing – what a professional that went above and beyond our expectations. He was a star. Kimo also was fantastic – conch / chant were a nice touch.

Arien, our photographer was great! And the same for our Limo service, make up and catering. The make up lady was amazing. Her make up technique impeccable, however, I would recommend someone else for hair. The cake was beautifully presented and very delicious!!! Yummieeee. The catering service was excellent, but unfortunately, we ordered the wrong food. Great, great catering service. Overall, I would highly recommend your wedding service to anyone contemplating getting married in Maui.

Diana is a magical person and I am honored that she married Bryan and I. I am so glad that you have profiles of the ministers that your clients can choose from. I chose her based on her profile, and she was a perfect minister for us. She performed a beautiful ceremony and created a very touching atmosphere for our guests and us. Eric did a great job! He was very professional and made us feel very comfortable. During the ceremony while he was taking pictures, we didn't even notice him (our guests didn't either), which I think is a sign of a quick-moving, great photographer. He sent us a few pictures for our wedding reception, just so that we could have a few to show off. He went out of his way to do this for us when he didn't have to, and I appreciate that. Della was very sweet and did a great job as our on-site coordinator. She was very organized and good at talking to Bryan and I, and all of our guests to make sure that everything went smoothly. Everything did go smoothly and she was to thank for that. She made everything very personal also, which we appreciate. DeeJay did a beautiful job on my hair. It was well worth the money to have her do my hair and makeup. I never received an email with the pictures she took of my hair. She called to tell me that she would email them to me, but I haven't seen them in my email. She was very professional and she was a good person to be with right before the wedding. She was nice to talk to and I was very relaxed with her. Overall great job! The flowers were beautiful! They were exactly what I wanted and expected after seeing the photos. Overall, absolutely wonderful job! I will definitely recommend your company to anyone who is planning a wedding. The destination wedding in Hawaii was a great idea. My entire family had an incredible time and it was so great to celebrate the coming together of my husband and I for a whole week with all of our family and friends (29 people in all). We were married on North Maluaka Beach in Makena. Our wedding was all we could have hoped for and more! The experience with this company was amazing from our first phone call to Maui to finally being able to meet everyone on our wedding day. The planning was so easy! JoAnn our coordinator was so organized and had everything ready to go and perfect. Shelly who did the hair and make-up was fabulous. I cannot recommend her enough. She calmed everyone's nerves that morning and did a beautiful job. Diana, on site, was amazing and kept everything running smoothly and made sure all our needs were met! Kimo our minister was absolutely amazing. We felt as though we had known him for years. He was very professional, yet brought the relaxation and Hawaiian tradition we wanted with a Hawaiian ceremony. Our family and friends are still talking about how awesome and beautiful the ceremony was. I cannot recommend Kimo enough. The leis and bridal bouquet were amazing. Fresh, wonderful, and looked very similar to the pictures. Our Ukulele player was the BEST! He brought tears to our eyes and I cannot imagine the ceremony without him. Carl our videographer made a beautiful DVD for us. We loved watching it when we returned to the mainland. And last but certainly not least...Gordon. This man is absolutely amazing with the camera. We look at our pictures all the time. We just cannot believe it is possible to have such beautiful wedding pictures! Everyone who sees our pictures just stares and says "I can't believe how beautiful and amazing these pictures are!" We highly, highly, highly recommend A Paradise Dream Wedding company. From the moment we booked our package, Jayanne was the most helpful person you could ever hope to have on your side during this process. Especially since for us, this was a destination wedding, and my finance and I weren't going to be able to make any trips to Maui prior to the wedding. Jayanne was there to answer every call and email I sent her way. Jayanne was able to replicate the bouquet of flowers I had seen in a magazine for my wedding without any problems. Needless to say, when I saw my flowers I fell in love with them. To this day, people comment about my flowers and how beautiful they were. The entire crew that was present during the wedding was some of the most pleasant and soulful people I have ever come across in my life. Our coordinator was helpful, nice, and respectful of our wishes. Our Minister, Kenneth was amazing. Any couple married by Kenneth will walk away from the ceremony feeling as though the heavenly hand of god has personally blessed their union. Eric, our photographer was cool, laid back, soft spoken and a true professional. He walked us through every step of the morning, directed us perfectly, and took amazing photos which I still shed tears over when I look at them. We love our photos, and so does everyone one else who sees them. The most common comment that we get is that people can really feel how happy my husband and I were the day of our wedding and that they can see the love we share for one another by looking at our photos. We were very pleased with all aspects of the wedding. Everything was very easy and beautifully done. Makena Cove was the perfect place for a small wedding, beautiful and secluded. We couldn't be happier with the pictures especially after all the other planners we looked at would take 24 to 36 pictures with our camera.

(1 of 2) Aloha Jayanne, Brian and I received our picture proofs over the weekend and were absolutely blown away!!! Arien got some fantastic shots. Our friends all think the background is fake. The pictures really are amazing - we could not be happier. Of course, now we're presented with a problem......how to choose just 50 for our album!!!!!! I'm sure you get this all the time, but can you give me a price breakdown for adding additional prints to our album? We've started to spread the word that instead of wedding gifts, we need money to buy more pictures! Who really uses their fine china anyway? ;-) Wow! I just have to tell you again how happy we are with how our wedding turned out. I've heard so many of my married friends say "if I had it to do all over again, we'd elope" or "If I could do my wedding over again, I'd change this" or "I'd wouldn't do that". Not me. There is not one thing I would change about my wedding! In fact, it was even better than I could have imagined and the pictures were just the icing on the cake. Please, please thank Arien for us - his pictures brought us to tears and we can't stop looking at them. He truly is talented!
(2 of 2) Aloha Jayanne, Well, it's happened...we had to come home. I knew it would happen but yet I still wasn't prepared for how sad I would be when we had to say good-bye to beautiful Hawaii. I wanted to send you a quick email to tell you thank you for all your work in putting everything together for us. The wedding could not have been more perfect. Even with a helicopter passing over head, a party boat cruising by, and neighbors pounding metal pipes during the ceremony, I head nothing but the minister, the waves, and Brian's voice saying his vows. I am a little sad that I didn't write down all the particular group shots I wanted the photographer to capture. I didn't realize how zoned out I would be after it was all over so I missed getting some key shots with just my family. That was totally my fault but please let my mistake be a warning for future brides - if they want specific shots WRITE THEM DOWN! You can't be trusted to remember anything the day of the wedding! Other than upsetting my sister because I forgot to get a picture of just me and her, everything could not have been more perfect. Everyone went above and beyond what I expected to make our wedding perfect. The minister was fabulous!! He put everyone at ease, set the tone for the wedding, and made us both totally relaxed. EVERYONE in our party complimented us on the ceremony and my mother actually exclaimed that our ceremony was the best wedding ceremony she has ever witnessed! The flowers were amazing....even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Shena is an absolute sweetheart!! She relaxed me from the very minute I met her. She made me feel like everything was under control and nothing would dare go wrong on my wedding day. And last but not least, the guitarist did a wonderful job! I was doing a good job of holding back the tears until he started singing. His voice is so beautiful and he sang our song with so much meaning, I almost lost it. Just incredible!! He left before I had a chance to thank him so please convey my deepest thanks to him. His singing made our beautiful wedding absolutely perfect. Once again, I want to thank you for your patience, understanding, and hard work in putting everything together for me. I still can't believe it all went so smoothly and can't believe it is all over. Now I am anxiously awaiting the pictures and video so I can relive the day over and over again.

Everyone told us it would be bad luck for us to get married on "Friday the 13th"...that was one day that we will forever be grateful. We couldn't have even dreamed of a more perfect wedding. The wedding party consisted of 13 of us, and not a single one felt left out or rushed. It was picture perfect and completely stress free. All we needed to worry about was what time we needed to arrive. Arien was incredible, sweet, patient, and the pictures are even more amazing. Thanks to him, we will always have the most perfect memories of our wedding day. The entire day, just fell into place with ease, thanks to Jayanne. I wish I could tell the world how impressed and pleased we were with "A Paradise Dream Wedding," because that is exactly what it was.....a DREAM come true!!!

Our wedding on July 3, 2007 at the Olowalu Plantation House was everything we dreamed about and much more!!!! The site was magical! It was a perfect spot for a Maui wedding, especially if you are having a larger guest list and want a private location right on the water. Reverend Ken was AMAZING...he really made it a special ceremony! Della made the site even more magical with the flowers and decor. It was gorgeous at night with all of the lighting! The catering was delicious....our guests really enjoyed the luau-style cuisine! Stacy from the bar service was great...she helped us out in saving money and provided great service to our guests! The drinks were a hit! Jo, Della, and Joanne were our on-site coordinators because we had such a large guest list. They did a great job of making everything flow seamlessly that evening. We had a few different coordinators during the whole process, and Jo did a great job at coordinating all the last-minute details via email before the actual day. DJ did my hair and make-up that day at my hotel and she was absolutely fantastic!!!! I received so many compliments on my hair and make-up from family and friends. She knew exactly what I wanted! Finally, Eric was our photographer and he was so patient and calming. Our pictures turned out amazing! Overall, we had a positive experience working with A Paradise Dream Wedding and would recommend them to anyone looking to get married in Maui. The vendors they recommended were outstanding!!!!
