All in a name

Our Groom, Michael Kane, shares a very special name with Hawaiian culture.  "Kane" is Man in Hawaiian, and he was definitely the Man!  Sweeping his beautiful bride up off her feet at the ceremony and taking care of all the planning details.  Michael was referred to us by one of his coworkers, who we married in 2010. Emotions

What makes a wedding photo stab your tear ducts and tug your heart is the emotion captured within. Gordon Nash, Photographer, is a Master at relaxing the couple and letting them be themselves during the photos. View Gordon's Portfolio here  Mr. and Mrs. Hernandez from IL are proof.  The groom kissing her gently... sigh, you can almost see him doing that for the next 75 years.  Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator.

DT Fleming Beach at Sunset

Mr. and Mrs. Kaiser from New Jersey and their four children with extended family were able to frolic and enjoy DT Fleming Beach (view the beach here) way into sunset.  The couple crowned a perfect wedding with a romantic sunset kiss. Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

Yellow "Island Style"

You will never have to worry about the lack of color on Maui.  When we say yellow, we mean warm, bright, rich, feel good yellow!  Yellow Cymbidiums, and "Popcorn" or Oncidium Orchids go wonderful with the Maui green palm trees and blue water.  Bride Maria and I designed this bouquet and it came through better than we dreamed!  Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

What you dream about

Planning a wedding in Maui is exciting, planning a wedding and then a honeymoon in Maui is the BEST!  Its two segments of pleasure, first the wedding, then time to do everything or nothing in Paradise.  EE and Alicia from Canada caught a glorious sunset for their wedding, enjoyed their wedding cake on the beach and then spent time in one of our favorite hotels, the Makena Beach and Golf Resort.  Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

Across the pond they say

When the couple is from England and travels across the globe to our "little" Hawaiian "pond". Deepa and Vinesh from Cambridge, England enjoyed a spectacular sunset wedding and had one of our favorite Musicians for a sunset wedding, a Saxaphone!  The notes flowing over the waves is intoxicating. A perfect compliment to the setting sun.  Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator

The feeling of Joy

There are a lot of strong emotional feelings associated with your wedding.  Worry, fear, exhilaration, the feeling you can't wait one more day and the feeling of never wanting it to end.  There is a certain feeling you will feel when you are finally standing barefoot on the sand looking into his eyes, and there's another feeling of joy like you've never felt before after the kiss and during your first moments as husband and wife.  I think Lindsey and Joshua of WA are a perfect example of the above.  Its kind of a surprised, better than you imagined joy, and we love for all of our couples to experience it.  Jayanne, Wedding Coordinator
