Just Maui’d yesterday on October 4th, 2014 at lovely Makena Cove. Jacqueline made a charming cascade bouquet for her big day with gemstones and silk orchids. She changed to her second dress for a sunset trash the dress session to complete their big day of wedding photos.

They had a sea turtle as a surprise guest to celebrate their lovely wedding along with their friends and family at pristine Makena Cove on October 3rd, 2014. They were referred by Nicole’s cousin who we helped on their wedding in September of 2007.

Just Maui’d at beautiful Makena Cove on October 2nd, 2014. Right after they exchanged their vows, it started pouring down rain to bless their new journey together. Gordon suggested changing the location to Po’olenalena Beach which is about 5 minutes from the cove for their sunset shoot. When we arrived there it was dry as a bone with a glorious sunset starting to commence. They are ecstatic to have a great variety of shots taken on two amazing beaches for their precious wedding day.

Betty & Martin choose some unique locations for their memorable wedding photos. They had an intimate morning ceremony at pristine Makena Cove. Being from chilly Montréal Canada, Martin always had dreamt of getting bright tropical colors in his wedding photos. Jayanne, our coordinator found them a perfect place, Maui Tropical Plantation to make his dream come true! We went there after the ceremony at lunch time for some gorgeous tropical garden photos and then their photo shoot ended with a beautiful sunset at Po’olenalena beach to complete their big day!

Just finished editing Le Le and Yuan’s wedding photos yesterday. “Wow!” I do not know how many times I was amazed by the beauty of the photos that Gordon and Arien captured on this lovely couple's big day. The photo sessions started at Honolua Bay Forest which has a romantic fantasy feel which is almost fairytale like. Then they moved to the private estate in Laniupoko for their ceremony and reception. That evening, they had one of the most magnificent sunsets I’ve seen on Maui. Gordon and Arien captured their gorgeous silhouette with their reflection floating in the pool with the glorious orange and yellow clouds surrounding them. While I was editing these photos, the cropping and color enhancement created a somewhat mysterious new layer of beauty that started to appear on the surface on the photos. I really enjoyed being a part of the team to create these amazingly artistic photos with Gordon and Arien!

Let us introduce one of our talented makeup artists, Mari Rivers. She was born and raised in Osaka, Japan and has both Japanese and US hair makeup licenses. She been in her profession over 15 years and welcomes you to bring pictures of your favorite hairstyles and makeup or you can choose from her latest Japanese hair and makeup catalogs. Lately her rehearsal sessions have been very popular and successful making our brides happy.
One bride said: Mari’s kind and friendly personality made me feel at ease and lessened my nervousness before my wedding! I was so glad that Jayanne, my wedding coordinator recommended to me the rehearsal session so that I was able to consult with Mari what would look the best on me for my big day!”
As a photo retouch artist, I really appreciate her fine detailed work on our brides. To take the shine off brides’ face requires more than just a light retouching if makeup is not applied properly. We will make sure you will look gorgeous in your wedding photos by the collaborative work of the three artists: photographers, makeup artist, and retouch artist.

Just Maui’d on September 24th, 2014. They had a wonderful wedding and reception at famous Olowalu Plantation House. This private estate on the westside of Maui is one of the finest venues for weddings and this couple really did it up well with a gourmet caterer to wine and dine their large gathering of friends and family. We got some awesome dancing shots!
